Choi, Sun-ja. Daemyeong, Daegu

도공을 시작하자 처음에는 옥색 빛이 도장에 가득 찼습니다. 그러더니 하늘에서 옥색빛이 옥구슬 같은 주먹만한 여의주로 변하면서 좀 있으니 창원도장에서 도공을 내려주시는 종도사님 앞에서 옆으로 정렬을 했습니다. 여의주는 푸른 빛으로 세상에서 볼 수 없는 아름다운 빛깔이었고, “각기 정성대로 가져간다.”는 소리가 들렸습니다. 

친할머니가 나타나서 “아가. 네가 하는 게 맞다.”라고 하시고, 생전에 교회 권사였던 외할아버지는 흰 도복을 입고 지켜보고만 계셨고, 어머니는 태을주 도복을 입고 웃으시면서 태을주를 같이 읽고 계셨습니다. 

시어머니는 살아 생전 몸이 안좋으셨는데 아직 그 모습으로 계셨습니다. 작년에 시댁선조 천도식을 올려드렸는데, 시댁의 직계 자손이 아직 상제님 신앙을 못하고 기도 드려줄 자손이 없어서 그런 것 같았습니다. 빨리 시댁의 후손들을 신앙하게 해야겠구나 하는 생각을 했습니다.

As the dynamic meditation started, I could see a jade colored light shining upon the  Dojang. Then the light transformed into a jade colored fist-size wish-fulfilling jewel and lined up beside His Holiness the Jongdosanim. 

The wish-fulfilling jewel had a beautiful blue color that cannot be seen in this world. Then I heard a voice saying “each one shall take their share according to their effort and sincerity.” 

All of a sudden, my grandmother who passed away came to me and said, “My child, you are going on the right path.” I could see my grandfather standing still wearing the white dao attire for practicing,  who  happened to be an exhorter in a protestant church in his lifetime. 

My mother was repeating the Taeulju mantra with a smile, also wearing a white uniform for meditation.  

My mother in law, who had been ill all her life, seemed to be still in the same condition. Last year I guided my husband’s ancestral spirits to the dao. However, since their direct descendants do not practice Jeung San Do and there is no one who can pray, my husband’s ancestral spirits appeared to me. 

I should have my husband’s descendants become followers as soon as possible.
