Jang, Jo-sun. Jung-ang, Chuncheon

도공의 날 아침은 집에서 105배례, 30분 주문수행, 목욕재계 후 도복을 착용하고 좋은 컨디션으로, 기대와 설레는 마음으로 원주도장에 도착해서 앞쪽에 자리를 잡았습니다. 

그런데 사부님 도훈이 시작되고 주문을 시작 하시는데 도장 전체가 활기찬 기운으로 가득차 있어서 나 자신이 위축되어 약간 불안했습니다. 그래도 1년 반 정도 새벽수행을 해온 덕분에 주문과 도공 기운에 몰입되며 내 페이스를 찾는가 싶었는데, 옆에 계신 성도님께서 큰 기운을 받으신 듯 강력한 도공을 하시는데 다시 위축이 되는 듯 했습니다. 종도사님께서 크신 기운과 빠른 도공기운을 내려 주시는 순간, 온 몸이 들썩들썩 하며 전신도공이 신명나게 되었으며, 종도사님의 역동적인 지기금지원위대강, 태을주 도공이 북소리와 하나가 되며 온몸이 없는 듯 시공간이 하나가 되었습니다.

그 순간 “과연 미륵존불께서는 우리 모두를 대덕, 대혜, 대력으로 일으켜 세우시는 입불, 선불이시구나”하는 알음귀를 주셨으며, 종도사님께서 이렇게 하나하나 도통 기운을 인사화시켜 나가심을 실감할 수 있었습니다. 그렇지만 저는 그때 “보여 주세요”, 제가 일어나서 도공을 할 수 있게 “보여 주세요”, “보여 주세요”. 하며 무릎을 꿇고 도공을 계속했으나 결국은 보여주시지는 않으셨습니다.

그런데 다시 한 번 종도사님께서 대력 도공을 내려 주시는 순간 온 몸이 말을 타고 허공을 달리는 자발도공이 되며, 한없는 신비감에 휩싸이며 감사, 보은, 행복, 기쁨의 감정이 몰아쳐 눈물이 나오며 엉엉 울고 싶어졌으나 주변이 의식되어 크게 울 수는 없었습니다. 그렇게 몇 분간 말 타기 자발도공을 한 후 이번에는 날아보자는 생각에 허공에 두 팔을 저으며 날개 짓을 하니 그렇게도 편하게 허공을 나는 도공이 되는 것이었습니다. (보이는 도공이 아니라 온몸에 자유자재 함으로 느껴지는 도공 현상 인듯합니다.)

그렇게 몇 분간 하늘을 나는 가장 행복한 순간에 빠지며 도공을 마무리 하였습니다. 그런 도공기운에 취해 있었는데, 사례발표 시간에 어느 분도 일어나 발표를 하시지 않았습니다. 그래서 제가 그냥 일어나게 되었습니다. 아무것도 시각적으로 본 것은 없었는데 도공기운에 그렇게 횡설수설하며 발표를 마치고, 조금 지나니 많이 아쉬웠습니다.

앞으로도 사오미 개명, 막둥이 도수, 선매숭자 도수에 맞춰 득체, 득화, 득명 / 통, 개안, 포교의 천하사를 완수하는 그날까지 一心一助하겠습니다. 

On the morning of the day of dynamic meditation I offered the 105 bows, meditated with the mantras for 30 minutes and bathed my body for purification before I wore my dao uniform. I was feeling great with expectations and excitement and took the sit in the front as soon as I arrived at the Won-joo Dojang. 

When Sabunim chanted the mantras in the beginning of the lectures, the whole Dojang was filled with vitality which made me become a bit intimidated. But thanks to having done early morning meditation for a span of a year and half, I was starting to be immersed on the mantras and the energy of the dynamic meditation and I seemed to have found my own pace. But I got more intimidated because the practitioner sitting next to me was doing a very powerful dynamic meditation as if he was receiving a great energy. The instant His Holiness the Jongdosanim gave us a great energy and a rapid energy of dynamic meditation, all of my body shook cheerfully as I did an all-body dynamic meditation. I became one with the His Holiness the Jongdosanim’s dynamic sound of ji ?gee geum ji won we dae gang, the taeuljoo mantra dynamic meditation and the drum. I felt as if my body didn’t exist and have become one with time and space. 

 That moment, I received an inspiration that “Indeed the Maitreya Buddha is the enshrining Buddha and the immortal Buddha who makes all of us stand with the great virtue, the great wisdom and the great power.” I realized that His Holiness the Jongdosanim is manifesting the energy of enlightenment one by one in the human affair. But then I said ‘please reveal it to me’ so that I can stand up and do dynamic meditation. I constantly said ‘show it to me, please reveal it to me’ on my knees doing dynamic meditation but it wasn’t shown to me.  

 When His Holiness the Jongdosanim bestowed upon us the dynamic meditation of great power, my body was doing the automatic dynamic meditation as if I’m riding a horse to run across the empty space. I was embraced by the limitless mysteries. I was struck by feelings like gratitude, repayment, happiness, and joy that brought me to tears. I wanted to cry out loud but I felt conscious of my environment, so I couldn’t.  After a short while of doing the horse riding motion I thought, ‘let’s fly this time’, and I flapped my two arms as if I was flying. The dynamic meditation was being done as if I’m flying. (This seems like it’s not a dynamic meditation that was revealing a message but a phenomena of dynamic meditation that is being felt from the freeness of the body.)

 The dynamic meditation ended after I felt few minutes of the happiest moment of flying through the sky. I was still drunk in that experience during the time of sharing our personal experience but nobody stood up to share their story. So I just stood up. Even though I didn’t see anything visually, I shared my experience gibbering under the influence of the dynamic meditation energy. I felt very sad after a short while (it seems this practitioner wanted to better present himself but he couldn’t put the words together so it saddens him). 

 I’ll keep on with one mind and contribute until the day the work under heaven, by becoming the embodiment of the truth, through realization of the truth itself, and by attaining my mission / enlightenment, opening the spiritual eye, spreading Sangjenim’s teachings according to the programs of [Sangjenim’s dao and the tides of the world are brightly revealing in the hours of the snake, horse, and sheep], [the program of last to arrive], and [the program of the seed that engenders immortality] is complete.
